This series is inspired by the quiet shift from summer into autumn, and then toward winter — reflected in the colours of the mountains, the changing sky, and the gentle cooling of the air against the skin.

Rather than arriving in a single moment, the change of seasons unfolds gradually, much like pigment slowly diffusing into water — summer's tones softly melting into the hues of autumn, revealing nature's subtle rhythm.

Drawing from these delicate shifts — the deepening sky, the evolving colour of the leaves, the first hints of colder days — Asami created this series of small works. "Ki no Awai" captures the quiet beauty found in these in-between moments, where two seasons meet and gently merge into one.
