木漏れ日 - "Komorebi" is a Japanese word with no direct English translation, describing the sunlight that filters through trees and leaves.

This series was created during a difficult period, when Asami found herself returning again and again to the forest in search of quiet and light. In the interplay of shadow and sunlight, she found a stillness that eased her mind.

Komorebi is Asami's attempt to hold onto that fleeting beauty — the way light moves through darkness, briefly, before it's gone.
